I use Blogger as a host for my blogs. Most of the time, I'm quite satisfied with the situation: I provide Blogger, and its parent company Google, with content; they make a little money on traffic and advertising; and so do I.
If that sounds crass and commercial: sorry about that. I've got bills to pay.
Starting yesterday, Blogger's editing/posts menu has been unavailable. That's not good, since I refer to previous posts fairly often while writing new ones.
The good news is that Blogger still displays existing posts: and (apparently) new ones, too. Including one I wrote yesterday.
The bad news is that writing posts, at least the way I do, is more difficult now.
Blogger's Scheduler: Does It Work?
This post is a test, to see if Blogger's scheduling service still works. I'm scheduling this post to appear in about five minutes. If it does, that's good news. If it doesn't, I'll have decisions to make about how to manage tomorrow's post.
The situation could be a great deal worse. And was, in May of 2011:
