I am Not Making This Up
I'm pretty sure that Michael Steele will get praised for being open-minded, tolerant, and probably other culturally-approved adjectives. And, he's another Catholic with what seem to be very confused ideas about what the church teaches.
Oh, one more thing: Mr. Steele has very up-to-date ideas about homosexuality, too. I discussed the Catholic Church's position in another post.
"The Party of Life" - With Conditions
The Republican National Committee Head, Michael Steele, said later:"...'But the Republican Party is and will continue to be the party of life. I support our platform and its call for a Human Life Amendment. It is important that we stand up for the defenseless and that we continue to work to change the hearts and minds of our fellow countrymen so that we can welcome all children and protect them under the law.' Providing, it seems that their mother's don't have them killed first.
Seriously: do politicians ever think about what they say?
